ECC Day 323: “Be The Light”
Each day we have opportunities to lighten and brighten someone’s day and world, even if for a moment or two. I’ll accept that daily - to give and receive positive energy to/from the world and other beings in it. Be it saying hi to people on my walk, taking my earbuds completely out of my ears; complimenting her on the great outfit choice; anything that puts another person at ease, and life a tad smoother. Today, Jay, Jennifer, Cheryl, Dez & the girls, and Ali were among the people who brightened my already sunny day; they helped me be present in our shared moments. Jennifer, your enthusiastic, “Where have you been!?” has kept me smiling throughout today! It was refreshing to see my Davis @chipotle crew after being away, and receiving such a warm welcoming back to town. I don’t expect people to match me on my enthusiasm and spunk for life, but when it happens, it’s well received and much appreciated! 😁🤟🏼 Be the light for someone today!
