ECC Day 228: “Smile at people you don’t know” During the picnic day parade in @davis.downtown with @davischamber I smiled and waved at people I didn’t know, at people I know, exchanged hugs with those I do know, and those I just began to get to know. Human connection, compassion, kindness, open-heartedness filled my bucket today. That burrito filled my tummy, with just the right amount of brown rice, chicken, mild salsa, sour cream, guac, lettuce...and before 1PM, even! These people are making a difference in young peoples’ lives - as parents, mentors, teachers, coaches. Let’s keep up the momentum, y’all! Boost each other up!
