Wholeheartedness

ECC Day 263: “Striving for Wholeheartedness”

In the wise words of @brenebrown , “Wholeheartedness, a way of engaging with the world & in our lives from a place of worthiness. Cultivating Authenticity, Self-Compassion, Resilient Spirit, Gratitude & Joy, Intuition & Trusting Faith, Creativity, Play & Rest, Calm & Stillness, Meaningful Work, Laughter, Song & Dance; & Letting Go of: What People Think, Perfectionism, Numbing & Powerlessness, Scarcity & Fear of the Dark, Need for Certainty, Comparison, Exhaustion as a Status Symbol & Productivity as Self-Worth, Anxiety as a Lifestyle, Self-Doubt & ‘Supposed To,’ Being Cool & ‘Always in Control.’ It means cultivating the courage, compassion, & connection to wake up in the morning & think, ‘no matter what gets done & how much is left undone, I am enough.’ It’s going to bed at night thinking, ‘Yes, I am imperfect & vulnerable & sometimes afraid, but that doesn’t change the truth that I am also brave & worthy of love & belonging.’ The absence of love, belonging, & connection always leads to suffering.” -Brené Brown, Daring Greatly

I’m doing the heart & internal work to practice the above 10 “guideposts” of cultivating & letting go, in order to live wholeheartedly.
