ECC Day 230: “Thank an Educator”
If I weren’t an educator, I may not have the firsthand experience to tell you how hard they work to serve and support students. From educators who conference with parents at 7AM, 6PM, and even weekends, to psychologists who analyze data and assessments for an individual student that can turn into a 10+ page report, to educators who barely have a break in their day to go to the restroom, let alone remember & take the time to eat lunch, because they dedicate their time to supporting the healthy growth and development of our students. Being an educator is incredibly rewarding, engaging, fun, humbling, and requires a great deal of one’s energy and time to do it well. Next time you come across an educator, acknowledge their efforts and impact.
